Knowing you to be a reasonable person, and considering the fact that we
are not at odds with each other, Please tell me what you would like to
see different that would still allow the echolist machine to function
properly.

....And how do you consider it to be compromised? I'll show you
compromised, listen to this...

Here is a situation that is confounding... Look at the problem with
Roy's nodelisting.  For three weeks now, somebody has mucked it up.
....And why would Roy place a "Hold" flag at the begining of his own
listing? It looks suspiciously like Brenda D. is being an aggravation
for reasons of her own. This is particulary interesting when you also
consider her comment to Roy that "payback's a bitch."
When have we ever had a problem of that magnitude with Thom?

The choices Thom found him self faced with concerning the elisting of
FN_SYSOP were bad and worse. Bj”rn had the support of a majority, including
that of the Z1C. Thom didn't really have any choice left but to surrender
the elisting. I don't like that, but if he had refused, then you would
/really/ have had a compromising situation.

It's possible that Roy's nodelisting problem is due to his pissing off
the wrong person.
