Your memory is very good and that time I solved the problem by contacting the
then Z1C who was the one who was letting the Russian echo get linked with the
one from Zone 1.  He cut that link and we had no other problems from that time
on.  The echo eventually folded due to lack of traffic.  Guess I should have
let the Russians take over the echo in hindsight. :)
