I can see an argument about Rose, but what was his take on Nolan Ryan?  A 
remarkable pitcher -- I'm sorry I saw him pitch only once -- and a remarkable 
guy.   If you want to rail against a pitcher, Phil Niekro would come to mind.  
Not that I don't think he deserved enshrinement -- quite the contrary -- but 
some of his numbers are a bit funny (given that the Braves were terrible in the 
70s).
