Don't feel too badly, Matt:  We have this quandary with the Texas Rangers, who 
have plenty of talent, but who can't seem to get over the hump.  I still have 
one of my unused playoff tickets from the first year they made the playoffs, 
and wonder if it'll ever be worth anything, given there's so few of 'em. <g> In 
the meantime, the local football team has won a couple of Super Bowls, the 
local hockey team has won a Stanley Cup, and the local basketball team has gone 
from being an NBA pi¤ata to a team that'll at least make the playoffs.

Gretzky shouldn't have let his wife talk him out of going to Detroit, where the 
deal was done.  It's our curse on the city of L.A. :-)
