Saw it a couple of times the first year we were down here, and I think The Ballpark pulled in the next year. Within minutes of our first game, Jose Canseco dropped a ball maybe five feet in front of where we were sitting. This was just a game or two after he got hit in the head with a fly ball. :-) Oddly, I always seem to make it down to Arlington 'round playoff time, and it breaks my heart to drive past a quiet Ballpark while I know the Yankees and the Mariners and the others are still playing. I still have some unused playoff tickets from the first year the Rangers made the playoffs, and given that they don't make the playoffs very often, I wonder if they'll be worth something someday. rs> Now I'm an Angels fan fo course (living in SoCal). :-) I was just in your area two weeks ago, Canyon Lake. In any event, I'm still a Tigers fan, having grown up in the Detroit area. The '68 World Series was still fresh and new when I was a kid, and of course, there was the '84 Series that I got to live through as a high school senior. And Mark "The Bird" Fidrych...ah, those were the days. --- * Origin: Il Vaticano * Lewisville, TX (1:393/9005.13) .
