We had a submarine hurler in Detroit some years ago, of no consequence, by the 
name of Bruce Taylor.  If my memory serves me, he had some early success before

Derek Jeter even said so during the Series.  IMHO, that was a tactical boo-boo 
on his part.  In his place, I would have said "Well, this guy is good, and 
we're just plain lucky that we're able to hit him."  Then I'd go back into the 
clubhouse and tell the rest of the team what the secret is. :-)
