Well, I have to admit, in the week after 9/11, I felt weird - I wanted the
Yankees to win.  Although that changed once the games started again.

Well, you could do that, but Selig owns the Brewers, so I don't see them going
anywhere.

Peter Angelos has already threatened lawsuits against putting someone in DC -
claiming that's "his territory".  Best guess is that they'll propose it, he'll
bitch, and it'll get settled with $.   I really want the Twins back in DC as
the Senators again.

There's a lot of good stuff in there by Gammons on this issue.

There's a lot of talk (although I doubt it will happen) of putting a third team
in the NY area, the region can certainly support three teams, and it would put
some more pressure on Steinbrenner.

Speaking of Steinbrenner, whatever happened to that lifetime ban baseball gave
him many years ago?  Seem to recall it only lasted a few years.  You know any
details of that?
