Because the Phoenix fans would've lynched him for putting Kim in after the 2
blown saves.... Phoenix was really worried we wouldn't get it... locals call
it the curse of the desert... not one of our major sports teams has ever won
a championship till now.  No offense, Kim is a great pitcher, but once the
Yankees caught on to his pitch, there was nothing special there anymore. 
Personally, if Brenly had put Kim in, we would've figured we were gonna lose
the game, plain and simple.
