Joe was waived by Sparky Anderson and then ranted:

 JS> accomplishments on the field, even if he did turn out to be a Grade A
 JS> jerk off the field.

I hated the guy but I respected his play. I always supported him for the Hall 
Of Fame EXCEPT after the scandal. Now, I don't think that he belongs in the 
Hall (I also stand behind the ban of the Black Sox BUT feel that they should 
yank Comiskey out of the Hall because of his part instigating the scandal).
