I grew up in Philly, and I was 15 when the Phils won the World Series with
Rose.  When he was playing there, I never cared for him - he always struck me
(even at 14) as a bit of a jerk.  Now, many years later, I wished I had rooted
for him back then - but I can't deny his accomplishments on the field, even if
he did turn out to be a Grade A jerk off the field.
