Subj : YOUR IGMs - Lord/32 versi To : Donald Tidmore From : Dantin Hart Date : Tue Sep 06 2005 09:20 am Re: YOUR IGMs - Lord/32 versi By: Donald Tidmore to Dantin Hart on Mon Sep 05 2005 08:46 pm Dosbox is also ported to Windows XP. There are two files you need to download from my BBS. one is called DosBoxer.zip and the other is Dosbox.zip. Dosbox.zip is the win32 version. Just unzip to a directory and make a link to dosbox.exe in your desktop. Then unzip dosboxer into another directory and run the exe and it will configure the dosbox config file. Each area is as easy as a point and click. Type in your values and save. Then your ready to run the exe. Acts just like the old dos of the day. First thing you do is mount the C drive as specified with dosboxer or you can have it automatically mount the whole C drive by putting this in the autoexec in dosboxer: mount c c:\ That will allow you to use your whole harddrive. Then simply in the next line of the auto exec would be C: which will change to that drive letter. Then you would do things normally from there ie.. cd game or cd c:\game then type run.exe <- name of the program. Pretty easy. Also they have a forum packed with info on most of the games and utils it can run. I got answers same day from the forum. Hope that helps. Download what I got on the BBS. telnet://ratsnest.synchro.net http://ratsnest.synchro.net (with validation full access to files) ftp://ratsnest.synchro.net (validate via telnet or http first) E-Mail: sysop@ratsnest.synchro.net P.S. I posted help here incase anyone else was curious. The URL to the forum is: http://vogons.zetafleet.com/index.php?c=7 that will get you more info ;-). --- SBBSecho 2.10-Win32 * Origin: Rat's Nest BBS / Dantin.Hart@1:261/1401 (1:261/1401) .
