Subj : [PENN] 1831 Johnson migra To : ALL From : DEM BONES Date : Tue Jun 27 2000 10:30 am @SUBJECT:[PENN] 1831 Johnson migration & tax ? abt Fayette? N Hi, I just found my John Johnson in the Springhill twp tax list for 1831...however he is not listed in the 1830 census in Fayette County or in Greene Co. I pulled the John Johnson/Johnston's for 1830 Green and Fayette to see if he was listed there. If he moved into Fayette County sometime after the 1830 census was taken would he have been taxed for the rest of the yr of 1830 in Fayette? Also, Johnson researchers...Did any of your Johnson clan first show up in Fayette County in 1831?
