So far, I've been able to run WfW311 #_WITHOUT_# SHARE.EXE being loaded... (but then, I'm not trying to run FrontDoor from WfW311 because the mouse and the external modem both share the same comm port -- I have a switch to swap the mouse and modem.) When SHARE is loaded, the FrontDoor BTM gets as far as loading the X00 fossil and then everything locks up and requires a push of the reset button. Okay, so I'm a little behind the times. I've never had a strong desire to run my (DOS) Fidonet system in a multitasking environment until now. The purpose of getting the WfWg system on the network was to provide a means to transfer all my (DOS) Fidonet over to my W98SE system #_WITHOUT_# having to copy everything onto floppy diskettes (or buy a USB card to plug in my external CD burner). Well, I've been somewhat successful in mapping the network drives on the XPP and W98SE boxes, but mapping the WfWg network drive eludes me (that's why I'm here, asking all these questions of Everyone)... Thanks ... Gerald P.S. Send me an email message to my W98SE box please -- I'd like to take advantage of your knowledge in setting up FrontDoor (with 4DOS command processor) with W98SE. Gerald Miller .... I chose the path less traveled, but only because I was lost. --- GoldED+/DPMI32 v1.1.5-040330 [msg of July 03, 2004] * Origin: A shin is a device for finding furniture in the dark.
