In XPP, I switched users and the router went offline. When it finally got power, I had a bunch of different IP addresses (192.168.2.100=W98SE, 192.168.2.104=WINXP, and 192.168.2.105=WFWG) and I'm trying to figure out what happened to 192.168.2.101, 192.168.2.102, and 192.168.2.103.... Have you ever had the router go weird when you switched users or is this a peculiar behavior related to the (my) SMC7004VBR router? GM>> P.S. If you get locked up, let me know and if you give JP> me your addy I will attach the version .45 to it to replace the v.50, JP> that is the faulty one. Well, I haven't had ZA lock up on me (yet) and I figure that I have fourteen days left on the evaluation before I have to switch it over to the freeware version... I did have to drop the Atomic Clock Synchronization program because I couldn't get ZA to permit release of port 13. Now, instead of having my system clock synchronized every time the computer starts, I'll have to rely on Windows to do the syncing once a week (if I'm lucky).... I also had to fiddle with building an expert rule to handle the Anti Virus updater program and I'm not entirely sure that it's working correctly. I guess I'll have a better idea in a couple of days... In regards to my email addies: To the W98SE box - Gerald Miller To the WINXP box - Gerald Miller It would probably be nice if you would supply your addy -- I have MailWasherPro automatically deleting messages sent by people who are NOT in my "Friends" list.... :-)) Cheers ...
