I'll have to look for the floppies, then. I'm sure they're around here someplace... :-) There's an 85M drive loaded with a menu program and a ton of games that was about running out of room back when it ran a 386 box with w3.1, and I figure that throwing a couple of the 170M drives at it should give me four times the room, network access would be a premium. You unpack it and there's a ton of directories with all sorts of files there that aren't clear what does what, etc. Eventually I just removed most of that stuff. ml> and then a fix for server peer stuff that you can pull a file or ml> two out of and make a DOS peer server (!!)... Got servers on the lan, that ain't a problem. Then there's drdos, and their networking, as an alternative. What is that pnw stuff, a variant on netware? I guess the main question is the protocol it uses, so that I can see if there's linux support for it. --- * Origin: TANSTAAFL BBS 717-838-8539 (1:270/615) .
