RJT> :-) IIRC, its there on the existing disks... i know that i've put it in before but don't specifically recall having to download anything else... if you do need/want to get something from M$' site, they've got a buttload of it there... even stuff to make a DOS (absolutely no winstuff) peer workstation and then a fix for server peer stuff that you can pull a file or two out of and make a DOS peer server (!!)... the problem is that you can't use it for anything else because base memory is almost totally consumed... ml>> its been a while since i've played with that stuff... RJT> Me too. I'm just remembering a bunch of games and such that RJT> were fine for a couple of the grandkids when they were littler RJT> (they're both now 12, and do the w98 box) and I've got one RJT> who's just turned 5 that I'd like to resurrect a 386 or 486 RJT> and do this stuff for. Not that it *needs* to be on the LAN, RJT> but it'd be nice if I can manage it. hear that... might be better, though, to get them into the w98 stuff with games and such for their age... ml>> last time was when adding some systems in a travel agency to their ml>> existing twinax wired lan... or was that tokenring? hummm... must ml>> have been tokenring as i recall that's where i got the tokenring ml>> port enabler... RJT> Still have a couple of those cards kicking around that I'm RJT> sure I'll never use, any more than I'll use the couple of RJT> arcnet cards I have here. hehehe, one job i had was stripping out the old twinax networking wire in several buildings and locations... folk were just plain tired of having to fight it all the time to do anything in the ceiling... RJT> Heck, I forget if it even has a NIC in it. I'll have to look RJT> one of these days... ;-) )\/(ark * Origin: (1:3634/12) .
