I get pretty good transfer rates here with ftp going between a 5x86/133 running dos to a K6-200 running linux, likewise doing http though most of the pages I hit are small enough that I can't really get a handle on it. OTOH the w98 box (formerly a w95 box) used to make the collision light on the hub flicker pretty regularly. What I was interested in was moving streams of data, though, and I still don't have a handle on what might be possible before I upgrade the LAN somewhere along the way... --- * Origin: TANSTAAFL BBS 717-838-8539 (1:270/615) .
