You say 'computers' - as in plural? If so, you're going to require a hub or a switch and straight-through cables. If you just want to connect two computers, a cross-over directly connecting the two NICs will suffice. What kind of Internet connection do you intend to share? Dial-up or broadband? If the former, the crossover solution is your most economical choice. If the latter, you're probably better off to connect your machines with a hub/switch and connect the Internet to same.
