UZ> Not yet knowing what will be part of the ADSL system (modem, UZ> interface, software ??) the question is now: Will this set-up as well UZ> work with TeleDenmark ADSL? UZ> I'm thankful for any hint. Ok, I haven't done any of this, so this is strictly what I've been told by people who have. You'll get an interface box. They may also offer a NIC, but I'm sure you've got lots of those. :-) The interface box will have a standard twisted pair 10baseT ethernet port. You'll need to run a cable from that. Here's where it gets tricky. You *could* hook it up to a hub. But doing so will make your LAN acessible from the Internet. The best way to deal with this is to set up a system as a firewall, and use two NICs in it. One for the ADSL\, and one for your LAN. With the firewall software filtering the packets that go between them. --- FMailX 1.48a * Origin: Shadowshack (1:105/51) .
