Subj : TnT To : All From : Howard Scaggs Date : Wed Feb 20 2002 11:54 am I'm attempting to make my BBS telnetable. The software is in place and ready to go. Here's my problem. When someone attempts to telnet into the BBS they either get "Unable to connect to host: no route" (usually) or "Unable to connect to host: no connection". My setup is Windows XP with an ADSL modem connected to an Ethernet Adapter (PPoE). I'm using EleBBS/W32, COM/IP and WinFossil 1.0 (NT). I can ping my system with good enough results. When I do a telnet localhost the BBS comes on line as it should, but I just can't get incomong telnet connections. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance... --- * Origin: Country Computer In Milwaukee, Wi. (1:154/288) .
