Subj : LAN problems? To : All From : Sean Dennis Date : Thu May 31 2001 08:37 am * Originally in WINDOWS * Crossposted in LAN Hello, All. My main computer (Shelby) is running Windows 2000 SP2. My laptop (Amanda) is running Windows '95C. I'm trying to access Shelby's C: drive from Amanda and I'm getting a prompt for a password from Shelby concerning \\SHELBY\IPC$. I tried every password that I have used (and can remember), yet Shelby's still insisting on a password. I dug into W2K and could see nothing that I've changed or done that would require a password (save for the admin logon). Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks for your help. Later, Sean .... "Bother," said Pooh, as they nailed him to a tree. --- From the Outpost Network console... (GoldED+/W32 1.1.5-0416) * Origin: Outpost BBS // Carbondale, Illinois // +1-618-529-3176 (1:115/776) .
