Apart from those BBSes with an actual web (http) interface, telnettable BBSes aren't part of the _web_. But they _do_ have URLS; e.g., "telnet:juge.com". :-) What's more, URLs of this form used to work for all Fido boards (I don't remember the exact form, but it was something like this): "mailto:darren.gibbs@f888.n712.z3.fidonet.org". So, one has to be careful about confusing "URL" with "web address", because URLs actually encompass a lot more than just the web. ....
