Yes :-) :-)

Yes, OS/2 is required both ends, but it works across versions. You do
a net share on the com port the modem is on at one end, and at the
other machine do a net use of an unused com port to the shared remote.
It is all in the on-line documentation - that's all I needed to get
it working here as a test from Warp V3 to Warp V4.
