Gentlemen, another problem!!!

This isn't frantic, as I can get it to work, but it is annoying me and I
waste a lot of time trying to find out what is wrong.

After a few problems, I networked my two computers (named Titch and
Beastie). Everything worked fine, both computers showed both computer
icons plus the "Entire Network" icon

Suddenly each computer showed only it's own icon.  Titch shows the
"Entire Network" icon and its shows the little 3 computers.  Beastie
also show the "Entire Network" icon, but double clicking produces
nothing.

If I ask Beastie to "FIND" Titch, it does so without any bother, and
vice versa. I have made shortcuts for both computers so I can get from
one to the other, and they work fine.

As I said, it isn't frantic, but I would like to find out why these two
rotten machines are doing this to me.  I hate mysteries, and I hate not
being able to sort it out.
