Feed Cobee beef and chicken. Changing food to one of the same quality shouldnt be a problem. Changing to 'cheapo of the day' can be. As to vomiting, I have 2 longhaired cats. If I dont find a 'barfball' every 3rd day or so someplace, I get worried! (The 3rd cat adds to that as he's a 'mommie type' who licks the others clean so has his share in the process). One of my 3 will eat herself sick if allowed too much 'wet treat' at a shot and after 14 years, I'm used to making sure she gets at only so much at a time. 2 of my cats wont touch anything with Tuna, the other came to me as a rescue kitty at age 7 and was fed tuna !alot! before that and now barely tolerates it the rare time I get a can mixed with it by mistake. (The ones that say 'fish' generically are tuna bad parts). All will attack a spoon of buttered rice given a chance which upsets my daughter Charlotte (6YO) when they get at her dinner before she's done eating . My cats BTW have dry food out all the time and get a 'treat' each evening about 5PM of a 6OZ can split 3 ways. Te 'rescue kitty' eats 1/2of his portion then goes to investigate the Roscoe Dish (4.5 lb hymalayan male) which is normally 1/2 gone and him wandered off. I tuck that one on the fridge top (unreachable by cats in my kitchen due to layout) and 1 hour later let 'Face' (American Black Beauty/longhair) out who polishs off Tom (rescue kittie) leftover share. 2 hours later it's time to bring the dih back from the top of the fridge adn let Face have it. Roscoe sniffs it but neither he nor Thom want it . Rest of the time, they bitch at us for dry food refills! I swear, I KNOW Roscoe has some siamese based on breed but the other 2 must as well! Vocal all 3 of'em. Sadly, I know Face is failing rapidly. I suspect that long sad trip to the vet is soon due to her quality of life. She seems not in 'pain' but she's not having any fun either. Pure age. Pedigree-wise, she's early version of a new showbreed and I havent tracked that much to know what came of it but know she was top show quality as I was told that from *quite a few* after I'd had her fixed. Now, she seems to be reaching her age span which nature decreed for her at age 14. Roscoe suprisingly, is still going strong at age 13.5 or so. Had several scares over the years about him but essentially I was warned he wouldnt make it past age 6 and each vet since then has been telling me it's borrowed time (and now i get 'jesus! He's still alive and ok! Tell me how' type notes from the vets). Thom the Rescue Kitty? Well techncally the others are also but Thom is pure 'tabby'. His only problem is he is 23 lbs pure KAT. Vet says he isnt really overweight as it's mostly muscle but we cant reduce his food access without also also reducing it for the other 2 (bad, real bad to do!). It's ok though. Roscoe just chased Thom around the house again so Thom got his workout! Gotta laugh though.
