The Shaman's Inn, Fido node 1:114/635, 1-928-927-6452 The Inn is a conglomeration of 4 BBSs, 3 that closed down years ago and the debris *I* have been collecting since I started working on and then took over a BBS called _The Dungeon_ back when I lived in Texas. I was the files monitor and was the logical (heh, I guess. :) person to continue when the original Sysop gave up on BBSing. PV> GP> And odd enough to suit me perfectly! IIRC, last year there was a scare about one of the major producers putting toxic chemicals into pet food as "filler". They tried to blow it off stating that the concentrations -weren't- enough to cause harm. Of course, the chemical was not water soluable, DID accumulate in the animals tissues, and did cause the deaths of dogs and cats. So much for their claim to be the 'best product' for your pet. I just wish I could remember which QWK pkt the info is in... PV> of what I eat was 'cured' the day I finally fed him a piece of banana. PV> He saw there afterwards with a look of contempt on his face. GP> *LOL* Wonder why the banana was so distasteful to him! Uh... the fact that the banana wasn't quite ripe and it had a tangy after taste. I don't know, this is from the kitt who won't eat eggs unless I put HOT picante sauce on them, so go figure.... :-) PV> GP> But Punkin doesn't eat meat! PV> Mine is definitely in the carnivore class. Nearing the hibernation GP> Well, I dunno what Punkin'd do with a LIVE bit of meat -- that's a Rats knows what to do with it. Bring it into the trailer and let it go. :/ GP> real strong instinct -- eating chopped up DEAD something in the dish is GP> a matter of TASTE not INSTINCT, IMHO! :) I watched a show on the Science Channel this morn that dealt with cats and how they became domesticated. The reason stated was that we encouraged them to stay around us for rodent control and the cats realized that those two-legged things attracted their favorite foods like mice, rats, spiders, beetles, and so on. So, they're not really "domesticated". Cats and humans have a tollerance based _living arrangement_. THAT part I _deeply_ understand. TTYL, Pat & =^..^= ....
