According to his original owner, Rats was an orphan. Seems his momma got snatched by one of the packs of coyotes that roam the area during the winter. Because of that he never got weened properly. Now, I gots long hair AND a full beard. Imagine my shock when I woke up the first night he stayed inside the trailer to a kitten suckling on my neck! He musta figured that since mom had hair on her face, there MUST be a nipple under all -that- hair! He turned his nose up to both. He has a sweet tooth, but didn't like them (and they _were_ sweet!).
