Its not as automatic as you'd like, but easy enough (*my* wife was able to
figure it out.. which means it has a built in dummy mode>

Would not a simple javascript utility that uses the file name for the
description work? All she would have to do is dump the camera into a directory.
Not elaborate by any stretch of the imagination, but it works :)

Let me know what you come up with. Her family lives overseas, and she's been
after me to get something up they can view. At least I talked her out of the 24
hour "tim at his desk working" web cam.
