I  am not dilusional... as for a config setting, I looked all over the place. 
It just doesnt make sense that synchronet would gbe so much laggier than
mystic, but it is...  maybe mystic was coded more efficiently, but most people
running a bbs probably arent in the crap networking conditions that I am in..
Stupid block happy, and cap happy network admin at a college.  On top opf
that,. there is major conjestion... but people get 0 lag from me when they log
in with mystic, they cant even getn past the login screen when I run
synchronet.
