To my knowledge, Mystic doesn't support QWK networking. You'll have to get a
FidoNet feed from a DOVE-Net node or switch to a BBS software that support QWK
networking.

As for Synchronet "lagging", I think it must be something with your
system or configuration as no one else has that problem.
