Does that make any sen Yes, it makes perfect sense. Your globally unique IP address is 24.93.177.166. 192.168.x.x addresses are for local/test use ONLY and are never globally unique or routable. Your router is assigning your local PCs addresses of 192.168.x.x and then performing routing and network address translation (NAT) on the packets so that you can communicate with the outside world. Unfortunately, it makes it difficult for the outside world to communicate with YOU unless you configure your router to forward inbound packets on port 23 to 192.168.1.101. -Rob .
