Admittedly things are slowly changing, but I boot linux when I get to work, and never have to reboot. But, I do rely on windows for many tasks throughout the day. Some software i run just works better in windows, or isn't available in linux. The perfect solution for me was Transverse's Win4Lin. I run windows 98 in xwindows, and it works REALLY well. One BIG advantage is that windows runs IN the linux filesystem, so there's no need for seperate partitions, and data sharing between the two OS's is seemless. The only thing Win4Lin lacks is DirectX, and at work, I don't miss it. I still keep a seperate partition with an install of Win ME, purely for gaming. .
