Subj : Horowitz To : JOHN FITZGERALD From : BOB KLAHN Date : Tue Jun 28 2005 12:29 am BK>> Above all else, Horowitz repeatedly lists the JF> failings of black people, but seems not to JF> see any failings of white people. JF> JF>> Seems that way, aye? Got once passage to back it up? JF> BK>> In this I inserted DH> to indicate his text, even though JF> this was copied in by me, as otherwise it can't JF> really be followed. JF> BTW, having typed this, I realize none of what JF> Horowitz says at all makes any sense unless Horowitz JF> thinks blacks are inferior. He seems to think they JF> need his leadership. JF> That might be true to one degree or another. The same JF> could be said for Jesse Jackson. So what? Jesse Jackson is black. Jesse Jackson talks to blacks and preaches about the problems blacks have to blacks, and preaches the need to solve their problems...even through teaching entrepreneurship to black youth. Horowitz preaches black criminality and inferiority to white audiences, with no attempt at all to do anything about it. BK>> His instruction. He is the wise one. JF> This is what seems to be what is getting under your JF> skin. Would it make you feel better if critics of the JF> NAACP and their excuse making were uneducated, unwise, JF> etc? Uh...Horowitz is unwise, and bigoted. As to uneducated, I don't know his background. I do know he got most of what he said wrong. Ok, maybe he's stupid more than bigoted. JF> I appreciate the time you took to copy in various JF> passages from Horowitz Bob, but all you have done here, JF> at best, is raise questions about the cause of the Black JF> crime rate and perhaps raised some questions about how JF> Horowitz views this phenomena. No, I didn't just raise questions, I showed where Horowitz pulled numbers out of his ass to smear black people. JF> As for nailing him as a JF> "hate monger" I would suggest that perhaps you might JF> reflect on your own motives as to why you have described JF> the man with such invective and hate, per your subject JF> head. Maybe it's because he published wrong statistics that make black people look much worse than any truthful analysis would show they are. Maybe it's because he smeared an entire race. JF> Perhaps it is because of all the racial stigmas, JF> black and white, that you have allowed into your heart... John, I researched my numbers, rechecked them to be sure I have them current and correct. That's not stigma, that's truth. If you don't see that, then you are the one full of stigmas. JF> BK> Race is an idea whose time has passed. JF> I thought you embraced diversity. Every morning and night. JF> Now here you are trying JF> to ignore it. Race is a reality, not an idea. It's like I thought you denied it. Somewhere I have a copy of Scientific American from some years back. The cover article was on race. It is hard to define, scientifically, just what races there are. The traditional measure yeilds 4 or 5 true races. Scientific analysis yields anything from that down to 2 races. There are some black African people who have so much in common with you it's hard to tell you apart...scientifically. JF> you're trying to say 'up and down' is an idea whose time JF> has passed. Just well could be. JF> You could very well believe this, but if you JF> walk off the edge of a cliff, such an opinion will not JF> spare you from the fate that awaits you at the bottom. Depends how far the bottom is. BOB KLAHN bob.klahn@sev.org http://home.toltbbs.com/bobklahn ....
