Yes it is, as noted by the message you posted.

Should homosexuals be allowed to teach our children in our public
schools?  They are now.  As they always have in the past.

Teachers are paid to educate our children in various areas, such as
math, reading, writing, science, etc.  Parents who wish to teach their
children morals should not ask our public schoolteachers to do it for
them.  As for religion, that too is up to parents as to how to raise
their children.  Jewish parents will likely raise their children in
accordance to Jewish traditions.  Christian parents will likely raise
their children in accordance to Christian traditions.  Muslim parents
will likely raise their children in accordance to Islamic traditions.
Secular parents will likely raise their children in accordance to
secular traditions.  As a society, we should not ask, or expect, our
public schoolteachers to teach morals or religion to our children.
That is not a teachers job.

Many gay and lesbian groups have an agenda.  But that does not mean that
the NEA or the DNC agrees with whatever agendas those groups might have.
The same goes for the RNC.  As to which teachers are Democrat and which
teachers are Republican, the ratio of Democrat teachers and Republican
teachers probably reflects the general population.

Most teachers belong to a teachers union.  In fact, most teachers are
expected to belong to a teachers union.  And those who are not are
encouraged by other teachers to join a teachers union.  About the only
teachers who might not belong to a teachers union are some substitute
teachers.

Our children should be protected from pedophile teachers, both straight
and gay.  What is the difference between a male pedophile teacher who
abuses a female student and a male pedophile teacher who abuses a male
student?  What is the difference between a female pedophile teacher who
abuses a male student and a female pedophile teacher who abuses a female
student?  Both categories of teachers are pedophiles, and should not be
allowed to teach in our public schools.  And those pedophiles who do
abuse and/or molest our children should be prosecuted to the fullest
extent of the law.

But somehow, conservatives only want to bar homosexual teachers from
teaching in our public schools, even those who are not pedophiles, while
retaining pedophile teachers who are straight.  Tell me that makes
sense.
