If they are defining say __PCBSD__ and *not* __FreeBSD__ (Which would be the
correct thing to do) then Synchronet will not build and run correctly.  If they
are leaving __FreeBSD__ defined however (Most likely to allow FreeBSD ports to
build correctly) then it should work.
