That's not been my experience.  I would often times use zmodem to transfer
stuff from my PC to my Linux box.  Otherwise I would have had to open up a
separate window and login via ftp, etc, etc.  I'm already logged in to the
box, why not just initiate a zmodem transfer to get the job done?
