I fear that if the "big-ups" have their way, you will find this difficult 
to do in future.  Your operating system, acting with your hardware, will 
demand some sort of certificate before you can transfer any file 
identified to be "digital media".  And even if you can bypass this, your 
ISP will block the file in order to avoid potential litigation.

Big-Brother may be a concept of the past, but Big-Server is still to come.
