More importantly, what is it proporting to be to > the remote server? Most of the time I use Opera, and am increasingly using Firefox. I have tried having Opera report itself as Moz and IE when necessary, but still doesn't seem to work with sites such as Rhapsody and Napster. For Live365, I'm simply downloading the stream file to ~/music/Live365 and renaming it from play.pls to something representing the station. It's a few extra steps, but seems to work fine with XMMS. Now I'm sitting here in Prog Rock heaven ;-) Now I just have to experiment with different MP3 sites. > I have no issues downloading from mp3.com and similar with an out of the box > FC3 installation using firefox. That's a good sign then. I'm guessing I'll have at least some luck.
