I've used Slackware for years with VIA chipsets, and found all -> the support *I* needed (Basically, the VIA audio) -> /sbin/modprobe via82cxxx_audio -> There is a driver for the VIA Rhine -> #/sbin/modprobe via-rhine -> but as you can see, I don't use it as I have different network hardware. -> Any distro with an up-to-date kernel should come with this stuff. -> You can also get system hardware monitoring up usiong a variety of VIA -> hardware, by installing the LM_Sensors package, and one of the apropriate -> i2c drivers but these are not a part of the kernel.
