Subj : Network analyzer app?

Does anybody know of a network analyzer app that I can run on my Mandrake
setup?  I have several computers on my home network, and I am experiencing a
considerable lag time when I telnet in to my BBS from work.  I want to know
if the lag is coming from usage on my home network, or from the connection
of my home network to the internet.

There's lots of chatting and downloading going on on the other systems on
the network, but nobody will kop to it, so I want some proof, if I can get
it.
