This:
	mkdir dir1 dir2 dir3 dir{A,B,C}

will create six directories...

Someone should draw up a list of vital DOS commands and post them.  Let 
Linux users draw up a counter-list of shell commands.  The combined list, 
in the form of a "DOS/Linux Phrase-book" might be useful to new Linux 
users.  

What am I saying?  There is probably a few thousand pages just like that, 
on the net somewhere...
