Subj : Spam Filter for FreeBSD To : RICHARDW From : Argent Date : Thu Jun 09 2005 05:17 pm Re: Spam Filter for FreeBSD By: RICHARDW to ALL on Fri Sep 10 2004 12:07 pm I'd suggest checking out ASSP, you can find it on sourceforge. It's a perl smtp proxy server that uses perl to construct baysian rulesets, whitelists, blacklists, and can use dns blacklists to cut down spam. I've set it up in about 5 big corporate enviroments and it's worked wonderfully. The users can train the program as to what is spam and what's not by forwarding emails to a pre-set email account. Very, very nice program that can be configured via a web interface. Has a ton of features and is very stable. argent > ZUTC: -0500 > HARSET: LATIN-1 > From: "Richardw" > > Our mail servers run FreeBSD. I need a good anti-spam solution for these > servers.
