Once you have Gentoo installed (like I do on 6 machines) It's the easiest OS to maintain. I've been using Linux for over 10 years and I've never loved a distro like I do Gentoo. I've tried many different distros, Debian, Red Hat, Slackware, Mandrake (back when it was Mandrake), and many others.
