Last I checked at CompUSA (last year) they had either Red Hat or SuSE
boxed sets available, both priced at about $100. The other stores here
in the Dallas, Texas area that carry any linux are Fry's Electronics
and Micro Center. Micro Center has the greatest selection of different
distributions, and also offers some commercial games and other linux
software cd sets. i got my last distro, Slackware v10.0, there for $20
for the four cd-rom set, and it booted and installed ok from this 1999
computer's 24x cd-rom drive using the isolinux loader.
