I have a small Sony portable radio received as a gift over a decade
ago, and a Radio Shack patch cord. The radio came with a bit of
power supply hum and I was able to disassemble it and add a bit more
capacitance including a small mylar bypass cap from Radio Shack.
Tonight I've been listening to a few ogg vorbis files made from
classical music captured off that radio from Dallas' WRR 101.1 FM
(they've advertised they offer their broadcasts over the web, if you
have that).
