I'm sure I seleted the proper answer to make it hide, but I'll try it again. Yep! I just readded Vert to the dd, and told it to hide the status bar, but it did not. I'm running it in X, and it won't resize to the requested screen size. Ok, I get it. The actual window stays the same size, but the fonts get all squished up if you set it to something like 80x50.
