I believe it asks if you want to hide the status bar, not show it... so if you
say "No" then it shows it.

As for the terminal size... that only works in Win32 console and in X.  If
you're using ANSI or curses output, it can't change the screen size.

I doubt I'll ever allow the screen szie to be changed while connected... imho,
it would break too much stuff to be worth it since there's not all that much
stuff that supports dynamic resizing.
