Really?

If you middle-click, it should 'paste'.  If you paste a URL into the 
browser, it should fetch the page.  Wait...

Double-clicking that selects it.  I can middle-click to paste it into a 
text-file like here: http://www.BarbadosRC.org/, or onto the command 
prompt (most useful after typing 'wget').  left-button swipe also selects, 
and middle-click works as before.

I've middle-clicked on Konqueror 3.2.3, FireFox 1.0 and Netscape 7.1 and 
each of those browsers immediately fetched the page off the net and 
displayed it...
