TERM is set to "xterm" I think.  I do not know how klipper works except to 
say that the menu pops up whenever a URL is selected.  But I don't think 
the PRIMARY buffer is ever chosen, becausend today, I tried manually 
pasting a 
URL into the address box of konqueror, using the middle mouse button, and 
nothing happened.
