I've used SuSE a time or two.  I like it.  

However, I installed Slackware 10.1 the other day under MS Virtual PC 2004
under Windows 200 
Professional SP4 and it works fine ... a little sluggish on loading KDE, et al
but once things 
get up and runnnig (I am in a Konsole window now as I type this) everything
works like a charm.  
I ftp into my Synchronet/Win32 setup (on the same box, btw) and grab QWKs and
upload REPs 
without any problems.
